Friday – PRACTICE DAY

- Class will be split into two Groups A and B for Practice 

- If you practice outside of your group it will eliminate your fastest lap from qualifying

- There will be four Sessions starting at 10:30 AM.

- The fourth and final session will determine qualifying groups and order you leave pits

- You will be required to scale after this practice and if you are light will start at the back of the slow group in qualifying

Saturday -

- One 5 min. warm-up session

- Qualifying (Tires you qualify on will be tires you race on for the entire weekend)

- How Groups are determined for Saturday Heats

- This will continue until all drivers are place in a group

- All Lineups for Heats on Saturday will be set by qualifying.

- Heavy and Super Master will run all races together. (TBD on separate mains) All heat lineups will be based off qualifying.

- Heat Races x3 (8 Laps each)

  • Lineups will be determined by you qualifying position
  • Groups will race against each other in three heats
  • Group A is highest ranking Group. Group D is Lowest.
  • Higher Ranked Group will start on inside.
  • Lineups are set in all three heats from qualifying it will not be progressive.
  • Points will be awarded based upon your finishing result in the heat
  • 1st – 0 points, 2nd – 2 points, 3rd – 3 points and so on
  • Top 8 in points will move on to fast dash everyone else will be placed in semifinals on Sunday. All tiebreakers will be by qualifying times.

Sunday -

- One 5 min. warm up session

- Semifinal (10 laps)

  • Lineup will be based on points from Saturday and will be 9th on back
  • Finishing order determines starting lineup for the main for 9th on back

- Fast Dash (10 Laps)

  • Drivers starting positions will be determined by points from heats.
  • Finishing order of the Dash determines starting lineup for Sunday A main

 - A Main

  • Will be 20 laps in length
  • JR2 will be 22 laps in Length

Starting lineup is determined by Fast Dash finishing order followed by Semifinal finishing order followed by LCQ finishing order (if necessary)

SR 206 $5,000 To Win Format -

  • Friday
    • (4) practice sessions
    • Final Session determines Qualifying Groups and order (you will be required to scale and make weight after this session)
    • Qualifying will be 5 laps and will be in groups of 8-10. You will be spaced to start but may group up if you choose to.
  • Saturday
    • One 5 min. Warmup in your Heat Groups
    • Drivers will be placed into 4 groups (A,B,C,D) and that is who they will ONLY race against in the two 12 lap heat races. Groups are determined the same way as the other classes. (see chart above)
    • Lineups will be based on qualifying for both heats
    • Top three in points from each group will move on to the fast dash (12 total)
    • Finishing position in Fast Dash determines starting lineup for Sundays A Main.
    • Remaining drivers will be placed into two Semifinals in order of points. Semis will be Group AD and Group BC.
    • Top 6 in each Semi will move on to the A Main on Sunday.
    • Fast Dash and Semis are 12 laps.
  • Sunday
    • Drivers who did not advance out of the Semis will be in 1 of 2 LCQ races
    • They will each get a 5 min. warmup in the morning as will the 24 drivers who have already qualified for the A Main.
    • LCQ races will be 14 laps and the top three out of each will transfer to the A main.
    • After all other classes have completed their dashes and semifinals the 30 A Main drivers will get a 15 min. extended practice
    • A Main will be 30 laps in length.
